Leonard ~ 1 Year

You know that cute, contagious, full giggling that you can get babies to do if you get their "tickle spot" really good?  That laugh that makes you laugh and turns you into a puddle of mush because its the sweetest sound on the planet?  Well, this A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E. little boy, who is about to turn 1 year old (where did the last 12 months go?!), did that belly laugh on his own, without tickles or silly faces, the W H O L E session.  I wanted to just scoop him up and take him home with me.  He couldn't get any cuter and I couldn't adore his precious family any more than I do.  It's been an absolute joy watching baby Jack grow this year.  I know God has B I G plans for him already and he is blessed to have some amazing parents to steward his precious life well.  

Happy Birthday Jack!!  We love and adore you!!!

Hicks ~ Senior

If I could tell you a thousand times that I have the BEST clients on the face of the planet, I would.  The day before I was scheduled to do this Ragland High School Senior's photo session, I had to take my 4 and half month old son to Children's Emergency Room with what appeared to be a stomach bug.  Matt's mom was way beyond understanding when I had to reschedule and reassured me that taking care of him was more important.  

In the middle of the busy photography season, it's not always easy to feel torn between taking care of my family and taking care of my clients too.  Paige lovingly reminded me that I am a mommy first.  Thank you Paige for being so selfless and understanding!!  I am so thankful we were finally able to get Matt's session done.  I love them and I hope you do too!  

Matt, thanks for being up for whatever I asked and doing it all with a smile...even though you were running on just a few hours of sleep.  ;op  I hope you have the rest of your senior year is awesome!

Morgan ~ Maternity

It was October 28th of last year when I found out I was expecting my 2nd baby.  I was thrilled and already dreaming up what addition we would be having.  It was only a couple of days later when my dear friend, Kayla, who was expecting her 2nd baby, found out she had lost hers.  It was difficult to celebrate the new life within me, knowing she was grieving.  We'll never understand this side of heaven why that sweet baby could not join us here.  But I'm so thankful that God is ALWAYS faithful and His ways are ALWAYS best!  Because that baby was taken away, this precious family is joyfully awaiting the arrival of baby Landon in just a few weeks.  Two sweet boys for this family to love on.  I can hardly wait to capture them as a family of 4!!!  I'm so excited for you guys!

Lacey + Laura + Ava +Pierce

My gorgeous niece, Lacey, asked if I could take some pictures of her for her 8th grade year.  I happily agreed and this turned into a fun session with her, her best friend and I threw Ava and Pierce in the mix too.  I felt like I killed 3 birds with one stone that day.  Yeah baby.  That's how I like to roll.  Ha.  If only I could feel so productive the other 6 days of the week.  ;op  

Lacey - you are beautiful and I am so thankful God chose this family to place you in.  I love your heart, your compassion, even your blonde moments....they keep us laughing.  A LOT.  ;op  I pray you always see the good in yourself and others.  Pursue the heart of God and chase His plans for your life no matter what.  We love you!  

Laura - You are sweet and I am so thankful that you are Lacey's best friend.  It's a joy to know you and to know that my niece has such a sweet friend in you.  I hope you enjoy your pictures!  :o)

What a cutie pie this sweet little girl is.  Scarlett reminds me a lot of my Ava - fun, sassy, spirited and silly!  So many things to love.  :o) 

I know her mom has been on pins and needles waiting for a sneak peek.  I hope the wait has been worth it, Olivia.  I LOVE them!!

Richerzhagen Family

This photo session happened.  Then I died. 

Seriously, their outfits, these 2 locations and the lighting all joined forces to create some stunning images that literally took my breath away.  I don't think I could love this session any more.  

I met Jolie, Emma and Ella a couple of years ago when I was able to work in a Fall shoot for them in the midst of a very busy and packed schedule.  It was the beginning of a sweet friendship that I have enjoyed ever since.  I adore her girls and Ava does, too.  

I love when clients become friends and I'm so thankful I said yes to that first photo session.
