Beautiful Family

What a beautiful family I had the priviledge of shooting a couple of weeks ago. They welcomed a brand new baby boy into their family on November 18th and he is just as sweet as can be. It was so hard to choose which ones to share on the blog so there are more than I would usually post. Try not to catch baby fever when you see this cutie!! "H" family: it was such an honor to photograph such a memorable time in your lives! I look forward to watching baby "M" grow!
Blessings,
Christy

Pure Sweetness

There's nothing sweeter than a soft, cuddly newborn. Baby "B" was no exception. She did so well for her first modeling session...so well in fact, that following her shoot she slept for four hours! She just had to get some more beauty sleep but she doesn't need much because she's beautiful already. Just see for yourself!

"B" & "J"~Here's your sneak peak! Hope you enjoy them!

Single Women's Catering

I forgot to mention something in my last post! If you live in or around the Birmingham, AL area and you need a cake for a special celebration or you need catering for a special event, I highly recommend Single Women's Catering. I'm a little biased because its a new project my mom and sister have started but when you see the pictures of some recent cakes they've done, you'll know I'm just being honest. Visit the link to the right under my info to go to their Facebook Fan page. I've also posted a few of the pictures from their latest cake below...the Karate Kid cake. Contact them today for any of your catering/cake needs!

Website Facelift

I updated my website today...which really just means I updated the pictures on it. Feel free to stop by just to see some of the new images in the galleries. I would also like to let everyone know that, at this time, I will no longer be photographing weddings. My schedule just will not allow it right now. I'm still available for engagement portraits and bridal portraits but I will have to put the weddings on the rear burner for now.
I hope every has enjoyed their weekend!

*New Prices*

Just a quick post to let everyone know I have decided to *temporarily* lower the prices for session fees and prints. When the economy has problems most people raise prices to make up the difference. I am fully aware that doing so does NOT help an individual's checking account at all. I'm with you! So, for a limited time (limitation unknown), I have lowered my prices. Check out the website (http://www.christywilliamsonphotography.com) to see the new prices.
I'm still getting my information together on the customized greeting cards, invitations, etc. Will post that info and pictures soon! I'm in the process of moving, so, things have been a little hectic lately!
Thanks for your patience and thanks for checking in!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

Updates & New Pictures

I know its been a while since I posted and there's still a lot of customizing to do with this new blog, but please continue to be patient with me and I'll have things in perfect order soon! ;o)

A few updates to share with everyone:
First:

I am about to undertake a different and heavier workload than I am accustomed to (not photography related) which is going to leave my time for photography somewhat limited. I will still be available for photography sessions but the number of available days may not be as many as they once were. My goal is to find a good balance between work, life and hobbies (photography)! If you're interested in a photo session please contact me and I will do my best to accomodate you at a time convenient for us both.

Second:

If you are interested in a Christmas session, I would encourage you to try to book around the middle/end of October. My availability for Christmas sessions will be limited so it will be on a first come, first serve basis.

Third:

I am going to be offering custom made greeting cards and party invitations. I'll have more details and some images to post soon. These can be created with a picture from one of your sessions or a picture you take yourself. There is no set template or color scheme to these greeting cards and invitations. The pictures you choose for your cards/invites are the inspiration behind them. Again, I'll be posting more details on that later! :O)

Lastly:

Here are a few images from a recent family session I did. I love this family...they're gorgeous, fun and so photogenic!!! Couldn't make a bad picture of any of them. Their two boys are the sweetest little things in the world! The youngest did, however, keep me on my toes and he enjoyed the game, "Catch Me If You Can"! We had a great time and I enjoyed spending the afternoon with all of them!

So here is something new and fresh for all your hungry little eyes to feast upon!

Facelift

I'm in the process of making some changes with my blog...a new blog host...which means my Photography blog will undergo a new facelift. So, please have patience with me while these changes are being made. I hope to have everything back in order very soon! I will also work on getting some of the more recent sessions from the old blog posted here on this new one. There's also some important news that I would like to share as well. Stay tuned!
Thanks,
~christy

I love Seniors!

Last weekend I had this senior session booked but when I woke up Saturday morning to rain, rain and more rain, we made arrangements to aim for another day. Later on that afternoon the rain moved out and the sun broke through long enough to get the session in. I am so thankful! Seniors are, by far, my most favorite subject to shoot. I had such a blast shooting Miss "B". She had me laughing the entire session!! She is a beautiful, fun and energetic young lady and I hope she's as thrilled with her images as I am!
